BIOGRAPHIE

The White Stripes est un duo de rock minimaliste de Detroit (Michigan, États-Unis), formé en 1997 et composé de Jack White (John Anthony Gillis de son vrai nom) au chant, à la guitare, au piano et à l'écriture et Meg White (Megan Martha White de son vrai nom) à la batterie et au chant.

S'affichant comme frère et sœur (mais en réalité ils sont ex mari et femme, «White» est le nom de famille de Meg [1]), le guitariste-chanteur-pianiste Jack White et Meg White (batterie), ont sorti un album éponyme en 1999 puis De Stijl en 2000. Leur son garage rock (...)
