EADGBE Em 022000 Em/C# x4x000 D/F# 2x023x (use I, M, and R) Dm/F 1x023x (same) Esus 022200 Am7 x02010 G/B x20033 Cm6 x3x24x (M, I, P) PERFORMANCE NOTES: In that fourth "bar" before the "Real Intro" (the one with the hammer- on's), anchor your pinky on the G-string and your middle finger on the B string before you start the series of notes...use the index finger to hammer on. At each phrase, "Be in Time", let those arpeggio notes really ring (I use my pinky and index fingers to hold the notes)...I know on the record those upper three notes are an octave higher, but since Phil was using double-tracking, I can't find a suitable fingering to fit those high notes in...sorry. For those slides in the intro, I use my pinky and ring finger, so that the other two are free to form the chords faster...this part is tricky at first, but it does get easier. Make sure you tune that guitar down a full step...it just won't sound the same without it. Thus endeth the tabbing. Any requests, anyone? With boggled eyes and tired fingers.... Jacob PS - Andy, the "mmmm"'s were just for you! :-)
